We talked about everything from the suffragettes to needle-felted models of politicians - including Led by Donkeys, brandalism, subvertising, buffoonery, Three Acres and a Cow, Extinction Rebellion, Pussy Riot, Zelenskyy, joyfulness, dictators co-opting the arts, standing in elections against ministers as a form of protest, Red Ladder, Spare Tyre, taking play seriously, play as a resource, doing what you can without asking permission, Mark Thomas, Flatpack Democracy, Dario Fo, play not being just a fluffy thing, etc. etc.

Honourable mentions to:
Rotters Opera, a play about historic corruption in elections in Deal: therottersopera.uk
The Meaning Transformation Guild: @meaningguild
ARTCRY, which funds radical protest art: www.artcry.co.uk

The most concrete idea we came up with was that people can use their own front windows as a stage-cum-display-board for subversive art, posting pictures of it on social media with the hashtag #windowpower

Let's make that beautiful dream a reality!
