a dozen people came to a session. and then some more came, but by then we'd already worked it out - this is what we worked out ...
we acknowledged most of us hadn't read the full paper (though one of us wrote a dissertation on it), but we knew the guts - (1965) the arts are too London-centric, the arts are not reaching all of the people.

and we all know those things haven't changed anywhere near enough.
so ... Stella is going to get a copy of the full paper (do you have a copy? can you send it to me?) & disseminate it, a bunch of people in the session (and anyone else who wants to) will write a short/snappy script version of it (Peth's brilliant idea), which we can then ALL take and read on the steps of every town hall/arts office/local authority/arts centre/theatre in the land.
and the musicians can set it to music and the dancers can make it a dance and the opera people can turn it into an aria and the visual artists can paint and sculpt it and the orchestras can orchestrate it and What Next can do it, and Get Creative and Fun Palaces and Equity and anyone who wants to ...
and, maybe, this time, if we ALL share it widely enough, and share our passion forcefully enough, change might come.
