One conclusion from this session was that - notwithstanding lots of interesting work and projects going on in schools - catching people towards end of graduate studies can be a very formative time. They might be more receptive to the sound and power of opera, relate it more to drama generally.
So "discovering singing" workshops, open-days etc to this age-group could be useful both ways.

For a female student composer this was also felt to be a key stage to have a chance to do formal/informal projects on writing for voices, charting drama in music and so on.
