there was only two participants - Rachel, a councillor, and myself, so this primarily ended up as a discussion of a particular problem I have withe a town council.

Useful points to come out were:

councillors think small and fast - give them one page, bullet pointed info, not loads of stuff.

come on a journey with us - positive press

councillors need to save face at all times- provide them with a get out, don't confront.

present arguments in economic criteria - quality of life, economy drivers, great place for people to live, growth of economy - back with stats.

subvert from within - get arts interested councillors elected.
