I, Andy Thackeray, attempted to host a discussion circle on ways in which one can

learn some of the technical aspects of the theatre making process. My personal

concern here is lighting and sound. I make ‘small’ theatre in small pub venues, but I

lack some of the technical skills and knowledge, which I feel I need. It was my hope

that this discussion circle would somehow enable me to find a short, accessible course

on which to acquire those skills, Or even the offer of some training. Sadly, this was not

to be as nobody attended my discussion. Oh well.
