how do we create communities as solo artists?

Convener(s): rachel blackman

Participants: freya, catherine, nick, jocelyn, heather, Sebastian, jennifer, Julia, Cathleen, emma, jack & others

Summary of discussion, conclusions and/or recommendations:

The need for diversity and specificity.

Be specific in your definition of what you want your community to be. Aims/ objectives/ needs/ responsibilities etc

Begin an open space session around the thing you want to support.

Eg. Are you a creator working in a specific way wanting a peer group to try out new work? Or fresh out of drama school wanting support for the recently jobbing actor? Etc.

The notion of WHAT IS SOLO WORK as work is never created entirely in a vacuume and we are always in community of some kind, so defining how we want to set that up.
