D&D: How can outdoor arts change the world?

An invitation from Simon Chatterton, Artistic Director of 101 Creation Space:

This year, we are celebrating 10-years of presenting outdoor work in Newbury. In this time we’re proud to have presented a wide reaching and ambitious programme that has bought artists from across the globe to the heart of our market town, providing opportunities for collaboration, community and transformation. As we look forward to what the next ten years might bring, we reflect upon the value that outdoor arts has in our society and how we can best use it to change that society for the better. 

We would love you to join us at this D&D in October, to hear your pressing agendas, poignant reflections and ambitions for the role we can play in shaping a better global future.

For those of you who haven’t been to a D&D before, this is a gathering very different to the top down, front-facing conference or symposium. A gathering where you decide what to you want to discuss. Whether you feel yourself at the core of outdoor arts practice or come from site-specific theatre, installation arts, sound art or carnival arts, this is a perfect forum to get new ideas, share issues, and work on what matters the most to you.
