Join us in London on January 20-22 for Devoted and Disgruntled 13 - the unconventional convention for everyone who loves, makes and lives theatre and the performing arts.

D&D is an opportunity for arts people at every point in their careers, from audiences to artists, CEOs to FOH staff, grassroots groups to seasoned professionals, to come together and focus on the question WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT THEATRE AND THE PERFORMING ARTS?

Essential event information and FAQs for all participants can be found here:

The Open Space format we use means that the participants set the agenda. Anyone can call a session on whatever is important to them, so you get to bring your issues and topics to the national conversation. No censorship, no limits.

The more voices in the room, the richer the Open Space - so we're pulling out all the stops to ensure that D&D13 will be our most accessible and diverse D&D ever.

Tickets are at our lowest price ever - £20 Full and £10 Concession for the full 2.5 day event. We are also offering a 5-for-4 group deal which works out at a bargain price of £16 per person.

We also have more access support than ever before, free ticket offers and a bursary for teenagers. See below for details and links.

BAMER Tickets

To really light a fire under the debates and discussions at D&D 13, we need as many different voices in the room as possible.

To help make this happen, New Diorama has bought up 150 Devoted and Disgruntled concession weekend passes - worth £1500 - and we want to give them to black, Asian and minority ethnic artists who otherwise might financially struggle to attend the weekend.

There are no age limits to this offer, you can be from any artistic discipline, working anywhere in the UK - or even further afield. Want to come? We want you there.

All you need to do to request a ticket is email [email protected] with your full name (the name you'll be picking the ticket up under) and let us do the rest.

The tickets are limited and are being offered on a first come, first served basis. So get emailing!

Access Support

This year, we are hugely grateful to Royal & Derngate and Core at Corby Cube for their additional funding, via Arts Council England's Changemaker programme, to provide better access support than ever before at an annual D&D event. Their generosity means we can pay for plenty of BSL interpreters, extra support staff, neurodivergent-friendly spaces and information, plus lots of other elements that we are consulting on in the run up to the event. Check all the access information here. If you don't find what you need, please get in contact and let us know what would make it possible for you to attend. Email [email protected] or call 020 7240 4556.

Teenagers Bursary

Last year, thanks to some action during Closing Circle, we collected £370 in a hat to provide a bursary for teenagers to attend the next D&D. Improbable are subsidising this bursary to bring it up to a nice round £500. Young people aged 16-19* who would like to come along and need some support to do that can apply to get help from this bursary towards travel, accommodation and/or ticket costs. We’ll provide as much as we can afford to everyone eligible who gets their application to us by 1st December. We’ll let all applicants know what we can provide by December 8th.

Apply by writing us an email or a letter, telling us how much it will cost you to come to D&D 13, a list of what those costs are (and how you’ve found them out), and how much you think you need from us to make it possible for you to come.

Don’t forget to include your contact details too!

Email: [email protected]

Write: Improbable, West Wing, Somerset House, Strand, London, WC2R 1LA

* we will consider applications from 13-16 year olds if they are accompanied by a parent/carer, or teacher with parent/carer’s written approval. You’ll need to provide proof of supervision along with the rest of your application, as well as contact details for your parent or carer.
