About Li-E Chen: Li-E Chen is an interdisciplinary artist and director, moved to London from Hong Kong in 1997. Her interdisciplinary approach includes performance, theatre, site-specific, visual art and mixed media to propose a radically new way of developing experimental performance. Her work draws on concepts of silence, nothingness, and what she calls ‘thinking posture’ as principles for a creative process that does not rely on narrative or representational meaning. Further information about the artist and the recent R&D can be found on her website.
