Themes etc:
local courses are very rare - encourage one to be set up {already under way. I promote the course I'd like to see set up.
Observe directors/assist on what are likely to be quality productions-professional, student. Approach companies when season booklets come out.
Fund my own productions.
Learning to direct is particularly problematic for new theatre/actor graduates.
