Hmm ... no one else turned up to this conversation so it'll be a rant instead.

I am fed up (FED UP!) of seeing shows full of untrained performers in young companies performing as professionals. Great ideas are being performed in an unstageworthy way. Where's the technical rigour? Do we not value craft? Why do the people who have the ideas realise that there are better and more skilled people to express them? And no, a university degree in drama is not a training. GET OFF THE F***ING STAGE!

(there are, of course, a very very few exceptions) (you're probably not one of them)
