Those who took part… (sorry if your name is spelled wrong)

Jolie Booth - Touretteshero

Wendy Petitdemange - Activate Performing Arts (manages inclusive groups and works

closely with Diversecity)

Ellie Griffiths - Upfront Performance Network

Eddie Latter - Haringey Shed

Richard Hayhow - Open Theatre Company

Jen Sumner - Hubbub Theatre Company (Derby)

Amber O'Gregory - Frozen Light

The overall discussion was about how the sector feels like it needs a separate identity

to being bunched in with disability, as the needs can often be quite different. Also it

feels scattered, so most of the conversation was around events to connect further at

and people to speak to, which I shall now list…

D&D London conference - Access All Areas

6th February

Dark horse

Trains actors with learning difficulties

- Conference at Lawrence Batley Theatre in July

Open Theatre Company

Is that all there is? Conference 9th & 10th March

www.itati.co.uk

Upfront Network

London Forum - 18th January

New Wolsey Theatre are keen to find new large scale work.

Diverse Futures - Support with accessing opportunities in the arts all over the country.

We discussed making work that also engages and entertains the companions of those

who are being supported, so that they want to come along to see the work too and/or

support the person they are companion to with participating in the creative process.
